Therapy-Informed Care
Meadowlark Mind & Body is a PMHNP-led psychiatric clinic, not a standalone therapy practice. Therapy-informed care means we use practical emotional support, coping strategies, and behavioral tools within psychiatric visits to help you understand symptoms, build skills, and follow through on your treatment plan.
This approach works well for patients who want thoughtful psychiatric care that goes beyond a quick medication check. It can also support patients who are waiting to start formal therapy or who benefit from psychiatric visits that include emotional processing and skill-building.
What Therapy-Informed Care May Include
- Understanding patterns behind mood, anxiety, stress, and reactivity
- Coping tools for anxiety, overwhelm, and emotional dysregulation
- Sleep, stress, and nervous system regulation strategies
- Behavioral support for motivation, routines, and follow-through
- Support for life transitions, grief, relationship stress, and trauma history when relevant to psychiatric care
- Collaborative planning that may include medication, lifestyle changes, and referrals when appropriate
How It Fits With Other Services
Therapy-informed care is often part of a broader plan that may include psychiatric medication management, lab-informed psychiatric care, lifestyle and sleep support, and hormone-informed mental health support when clinically appropriate.
If you need dedicated weekly psychotherapy, we can discuss referral options. Our focus remains psychiatric evaluation, medication management, and whole-person treatment planning within PMHNP scope.
Who This May Help
- Adults with anxiety, depression, mood symptoms, or stress-related concerns
- Patients who want more than a brief medication visit
- Children and teens who need thoughtful psychiatric evaluation alongside practical support
- Patients working on sleep, motivation, emotional regulation, or daily functioning
